We’re looking forward to turkey and pumpkin pie. Aren’t you? But for us the best part of Thanksgiving is being with our family and friends and taking the time to reflect on what we are truly thankful for. Perhaps in your family you share the things you are thankful for around the table.  Other families have gratitude boxes where they collect notes of thankfulness all month or all year long.  This year, we’ve enjoyed reading friends’ daily posts of gratitude on Facebook.  However you do it, taking the time to express gratitude out loud is so important.

So what are you thankful for this year? Just to break the ice, we’ll go first.

This past year has been one of adventure and challenge for us at Alpha & Omega Financial.  We welcomed a new baby to the family, purchased and established our independent business, and implemented a new management system to help us serve you better, among Many Other Things.  But it’s the challenging years that really help us be thankful.  Here’s our Thankful List.

• Our little boy has truly been a gift, even if babies are exhausting. Baby snuggles are better than pumpkin pie and ice cream.
• Our two girls continue to delight us with their adventures and funny personalities.
• We’ve had a roof over our heads and food on our table every day this year and we are truly grateful. We’re mindful that far too many in our world don’t have this security.
• Working every day with your best friend to build something great together is an awesome privilege.
• The support of our family and friends has been invaluable through the transition of buying the business and expanding our family.
• Finally, Alpha & Omega Financial would not be anything without YOU, our valued clients and colleagues. Thank you for your support and patience throughout 2013. You really are the best and we look forward to continuing to serve and to work with you in 2014.
